Stillman Fire Protection District is seeking a qualified individual to fill an Administrative Assistant position recently vacated. This position will provide administrative support to the Stillman Fire Protection District at the direction of the Fire Chief.
Performs research and analytical work in support of administrative, financial, and personnel functions.
Assists with budget research and prepares reports, monitors revenues and expenditures, compiling data relating to financial issues.
Reviews and processes invoices, deposits, payments, and processes payroll.
Performs administrative duties by ordering supplies and equipment, entering various information into the system, scheduling meetings and appointments, researching, preparing and processing paperwork and other materials, compiling data, creating, preparing and reviewing correspondence and reports, and maintaining spreadsheets, logs, and files.
Responds to customer inquiries and assists in the resolution of problems.
Performs related duties by troubleshooting office equipment issues, scheduling training classes, taking inventory, coordinating various special projects, preparing promotional materials, attending meetings and workshops and participating in the development of divisional policies.
Occasionally directs helpers, assistants, interns, volunteers or temporary employees and may temporarily act in a higher capacity.
This is a part time position, requiring 10-16 hours weekly.
Minimum Education Level & Type: 6 months post High School
Minimum Experience Qualifications: History of experience providing administrative support
Character Traits: Applicants must be self-starters. Organization is the key to this position. Applicants must be able to adapt to technology changes.

Special Job Requirements
Valid Driver’s License
Other training will be required upon hire
EMT Basic (Paramedic will take precedence)
Must Maintain the Ability to:
Certify in driving course for the purpose of ambulance driving
Complete EMT license if the need arises for the district (unless already certified)
