Here is the program for the free online scanner monitoring.

Download and install the CLIENT program, and for Windows PCs, that is the first
download at the top.
Install program
Click Connection
Go to Quick Connect
Under Server Address put in
174.142.61.152:8768
Pick a Nickname
Pick a Password
Click connect
Once connected go to "self"
Scroll down to register with server
Put the info in then register
Go to Connection then disconnect
Go to connection connect
Under Local Address book right click Servers
Add server name new server Incident Broadcast
For Server address put in 174.142.61.152:8768
For nickname put in login name previously registered
Make sure Registered is selected
Put in login name and User Password that was previously picked then for Default Channel put in "IL-Ogle County"
Hit connect and you should be off and running

Once you are online you can go to settings,
options, sound notifications, and select "disable all sounds" to kill those
annoying announcements.
